Sorry, we've skipped an update for about two months now. I am excited to say that I actually do have something to talk about now. I"M PREGNANT! and feeling very thankful and excited about it. Hopefully most all of you already know this information, but if not, now you know. We were really slow with sharing the news with everyone. But I am 18 and 1/2 weeks along now, which is about 4 months and 1 week, going by calendar months. We are planning on finding out the sex at our next appt which will be in just a couple of weeks. It is still hard to comprehend that there is a baby growing inside of me! but I am starting to feel more movement and little kicks, which is very exciting and helps make it more real. I have been slow to get a "baby bump", but it is finally starting to show a little. I will include a picture for those of you who I never see. Like I said, we are very excited and most of all thankful to have the opportunity to experience this miracle.
So here are some pics to help catch up on what's been going on.
Me, 18 weeks pregnant!
My nephew, Jackson's 1st Birthday, April 3rd in Dandridge. He loved the chocolate cake!!
Easter in TN...........at the Jones home and the Hasty home
Almost all the family.......we missed Sarah & Martin, and Daniel
The Byrd Family....Carla, Jackson, Colton & Scott...........all color coordinating. Good Job!
So cute!!
And so cute again!! Gotta love the Easter outfits!
Stay tuned.......hopefully I will have some pictures of our weekend vacation to Washington DC that we took about 3 weeks ago. Oh, and my latest adventure (aka: field trip) at school...... for some reason the Goodyear blimp came to Giles County where I work, so we took our class on a field trip to see the blimp!! It was BIG......of course. I'll post more pics later.
Oh, and an update on Aaron....last month he did rural family medicine, which was a lot like regular Family medicine. He really liked the doctor he worked with and got to learn a lot. This month he is in OB/GYN, at the same practice that my doctor is at! The doctor he is working with is the other doctor in my doctor's practice, so I will actually have a couple of appts with this doctor and there is a possibility that this doctor will deliver our baby, depending on which doc is on call. Aaron says he is a really good doctor, so that's good to hear. Aaron is having fun getting to see all the ultrasounds and he is checking for heartbeats using the dopplar also. He hasn't delivered any babies yet, but has seen one C-section. This is his last month of rotations for the third year. Next month he will be "off", but will be studying for his second step of his boards which he takes on June 17th and another group of tests at his school sometime in June and a PE test(Physical Exam skills) in early July!!! Then he will start his 4th year rotations in July.
Hopefully it won't be so long before the next update! Hope you all are doing well!
